There are a lot of things wrong with this...but I can't tell exactly what it is. I tried to go for more of a simple design until I get the lighting right.
I'm also going to do another painting 2morrow just using ref. I feel like I'm not applying what I'm learning in the photos to my own paintings.
Would this lighting scenario work if the curtain was half open? I drew the shadow line pretty distinctive because I wanted to indicate that a curtain was closing half the window?
