on a cloudy green shadows are never that sharp. They become really diffuse and blurry. Also the ground seems a bit bright for a cloudy day. Remember that on a cloudy day the sky is usually warmer color and the ground elements become cooler. On a sunny day it is the opposite.
I tried to make the sky more cloudy so that I could keep the contrast on the shadow side a little bit less saturated.

I'll try to remember the cloudier the day the cooler the ground elements.
