It's not distracting though. Your painting holds together. But always remember that sunlight makes things warm. Your grass and the path are too cool (temperature wise). Add more yellow and it will look sunnier. Also watch the perspective of the shadow. It doesn't taper towards the vanishing point so it looks out of perspective and makes the painting less believable.
How long are you painting on these? More than an hour?
The leaves and grass are way too bright. I think I got a little carried away. It didn't seem that bright when I was painting them.

This one took more than an hour. I think I got a little carried away. The earlier ones are around an hour.
