I took notes this time to really try and think about

what the light was doing. I also tried to simplify the 

painting elements and finished this one in an hour.

I tried to use the lighting in the reference. I think some of the values threw me a little because the colors were different. Also this took me over an hour. I should have picked something less detailed.

I tried to capture a sunny bright day.

The red barn is isolated in a field of green grass. 

House in the Woods

Starting this painting blog again to practice my lighting.

And to start thinking about how light affects environments. 

I also want to pay attention to design.
