Don't worry about getting the drawing right. Pay attention to the colors more. See all the blues in the shadows? That's from the the sky fill in the shadow. You didn't add any blue's in the shadows. Also avoid black outlines. I can still see the black outlines of your sketch you started out with. If you want to sketch first, make sure you have the drawing on a separate layer where you can just turn off the line drawing when you don't need it anymore.
